Thomas Thebaud

Currently transitioning from the Johns Hopkins University, USA to the AMIAD, FR. I work on speech technologies, AI, and security, with a focus on speech anonymization, deepfake detection, speech-aware large language models, and speaker recognition. My research explores trustworthy and privacy-preserving speech processing, as well as national and international collaborations.

Computational Modeling for Electrical and Computer Engineering (EN.520.123)

Undergrad Course, Johns Hopkins University, ECE, 2024

I served as a co-instructor for Computational Modeling for Electrical and Computer Engineering for undergraduate students in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in Spring 2024. The three-credit course met three times per week and enrolled 50 students.

The course taught students to solve complex, real-world electrical and computer engineering problems using computational modeling. Students learned to translate engineering problems into mathematical models and to implement the algorithms needed to work with those models in MATLAB.
